Just curious why the application was initially written using Xamarin. Once you guys graduate, how will the application be updated an maintained? Do you expect future students to learn C#?

We decided to write it in C# because we are both more experienced in C# than Java. But we will try to make it as easy as possible for others to change the app in the future, but we are not planning on re-writing the app in Java.
